Enabling, empowering and connecting the community through video. We record, edit and upload video of town and community meetings and events to Charter Channel 194 and our dedicated YouTube channel. We are funded entirely by grants and user fees from Charter/Spectrum Communications. Our air-conditioned studio is located in the Brookfield Elementary School building and features a state-of-the-art TelVue digital broadcast system, two digital editing stations and an assortment of cameras and related equipment. We are currently working on enabling live broadcasts from our studio and the Town Hall.

We need volunteers to serve on the town’s 7-member Local Access Committee, the governing body of Brookfield Community Media (the current membership is three), as well as people who wish to learn videography and editing skills. Because the studio is located in the Elementary School building, all prospective volunteers who want access to the studio must submit to a CORI check administered by the school.
