The prime function of the Finance Advisory Committee is to review the Brookfield municipal department annual budgets and to submit a balanced budget to the Annual Town Meeting for citizen approval.  Throughout the annual budget cycle, the committee’s main goals are to optimize the value of each dollar spent, address the town’s long-range as well as immediate needs and to present a balance budget to the annual own meeting.
