The Commissioners of the Brookfield Water Department maintain wells, pipes, meters and other equipment and manage the water district located in the center of Brookfield and ensure that customers have access to high quality water that meets all state standards. The Commissioners are conducting a survey of residents south of the Quaboag River to determine whether to expand the water district to other sections of Brookfield.

This is a three-member, elected board.
