The Brookfield Community Club has been organizing the Apple Country Fair since 1979. The perennially popular fair—featuring crafters, food trucks, music, children’s games, raffles, and an apple pie contest—is held on the Brookfield Town Common on the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend. Money raised at the Apple Country Fair funds grants that enrich community life, from the town’s monthly newsletter, the Brookfield Citizen, to holiday programs for Brookfield seniors. Recently, the Community Club has hosted other family events such as movie night.

Meetings:

Meetings are held monthly and are open to the public (except executive committee meetings). New members welcome.

Accepting New Members?: Yes

Volunteer Opportunities: Project volunteers needed to work on movie nights as well as at the Apple Country Fair.

Financial Donations: Donations are welcomed but not tax-deductible.

Wish List:

Raffle items and baked goods on the day of the Apple Country Fair.
Donations of other goods and services would be considered.
