The Personnel Board is responsible for creating/updating job descriptions for all town positions and for signing wage authorizations as needed. In 2018 it applied for and received a state grant for $30,000 to update job descriptions, wage scale, and Human Resource policies and procedures. The board has been actively working with the Collins Center at UMASS to complete this project. It is also continuing to work on an employee handbook.
