Community Organizations

Brookfield Community Club
The Brookfield Community Club organizes the annual Apple Country Fair—featuring crafters, food trucks, music, children’s games, raffles, and an apple pie contest—on the Brookfield Town Common on the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend. Proceeds from the fair fund grants that enrich community life.
The Brookfield Congregational Church serves the larger community in many ways including Vacation Bible School, the Spirit Lifters,  mission activities, Boy Scouts, and Alcoholics Anonymous.
Brookfield Democratic Town Committee
The Brookfield Democratic Town Committee works to elect candidates and pass legislation to uphold Democratic ideals. It launched the Better Brookfield campaign to improve civic engagement in town.
PTO is a group of parents of students at Brookfield Elementary School. The organization holds fundraisers, support several school events throughout the year, and may provide items the school and teachers request or need.
The Brookfield Fire Auxiliary supports the Brookfield Fire Department and its members by sponsoring fundraising events and providing volunteer non-firefighting  services during fires or other emergency incidents.
Brookfield Garden Club
The Brookfield Garden Club creates a fellowship of gardeners, hosts programs on gardening, field trips and an annual plant sale, and maintains public gardens in Brookfield and West Brookfield.
Brookfield Rod and Gun Club
The Brookfield Rod and Gun Club is a sportsmen’s club featuring an archery range, pistol range, horseshoe league, pitch league, pheasant stocking program, and dinners.
Brookfield Sacred Fire Hamlet provides a forum for discussion, support, and social contact.
Brookfield Unitarian Universalist Church
The mission of the BUUC is to support and promote the principles of Unitarian Universalism. By nurturing spirituality, intellectual growth, diversity of belief, and our ties to one another, we seek to inspire lives of passion, compassion and community.
The goal of the CCL is to lobby members of the Massachusetts legislature and U.S. Congress to enact a carbon tax, revenue neutral, at national and state levels.
